"What’s The Craic?"

In my
Last Post
I got a few comments saying about how cool it sounded. In particular, me and
Ro
Were having a great chat. One of the things that came up was the slang terms that people all over the world use. We talked about plimsouls (remember those?), and an old iresh favorite “Craic”. Eventually Ro suggested that we look it up on youtube. We had no joy there, so I decided to record me saying “Craic” as she wanted to know what it sounded like.

So just for Ro, and all you other fello americans, here is me saying about
The Craic
By the way, those squeaks in the background are my little brows guinnypigs. They decided to be rather loud lol.

I hope you like this Ro!

Oh man you're Irish! Hhahaha!! So it actually sounds like it's spelled. The way you said it. So that must be how you say crack but it really sounds like craic phonetically lol! You laughed while you said it though and I was hoping you'd say it more hahaha! That was great!!! You are sooooo Irish hehehe. I love the Irish accent. It's so pretty!

I was going to ask you about the squeaky squeakies. Aww. I used to have a guinea pig. Now that you said that's what it was, that sounds exactly like mine…but before that, I was convinced it was little birdies!

Hi Tori, I loved your sound clip! I find you to be a very funny person! And yes, I love the Irish accent too. And what does that word “craic” mean anyway? I’ve noticed that word a lot in your blog so was just wondering about it.XXMichelle

I think she said it meant awesome or lots of fun or something. I asked her the same question.Right now I hope she's dreaming of good craic. *grin*.

Hi Tori, one more comment before Ig et off this computer for the day: I know you’re worried about affecting your dog when you stress out, but I think you’ll be fine. I find that Troy gets affected by my stress, but I just slow down so we’re not rushing or I find a safe place to sit down for a while. That way we make less mistakes and I can pat Troy on the head or down his back to let him know that the stress is nothing to do with him. Have a good time with your new fluffy friend!Michelle

I'd love to hear from you, so comment away! (I won't tollerate spammers though)
