Has It Really Been That Long?

Well tonight was the last of
The GCSE Maths Class
Unfortunately. And to think that I was considering leaving the class!!! What a stupid mistake that would have been. I’m glad to say that that
Was just some pre adjusting to the college and a new class.

I would just like to say that it has been great craic!!! I know sometimes it was hard, but it’s all worth it. I would just like to thank two really cool people, who know who they are!!! You have helped me so much, especially with explaining the diagrams. I don’t want to mention any names here, but I definitely couldn’t have done it this year without one person in particular. I don’t think i would be feeling so confident otherwise. Thanks!!!!!

I just have to get the second paper over and done with on Monday, and that’s me!!!!

My Wednesday nights are going to be so boring now!!!!!!!! My inbox will be feeling it too!!!! Lol.

Not As Bad…

The GCSE Maths class wasn’t as bad this week. I didn’t have my equipment, but it seemed more relaxed or something. Well not relaxed, but not as stressful.

I got my first textbook yesterday. It is going to be scanned in this week hopefully. I will have it in braille, and parts of it can be emailed to me, so that I have it in more than one format.

The college are also getting a braille embosser, which is able to do graphs and that too. That should be good. I will also get the board for the graphs, as well as everything else I need.

My mentor contacted me yesterday too. He wanted to know what time my class would be at, and what we were studdying. Hopefully, that means that he will be there in the class next week.

As for the laptop, I haven’t got it yet, because JAWS has to be loaded on to it.

I’m glad to see that things are moving along. With the way last week went, I was considering having to pull out of the class. Thank god I shouldn’t have to now, as I really can’t afford to put back my future any longer!! A year is enough, thank you.

Fucking Pissed

I know the subject is a bit harsh, but it’s how i’m feeling!!!!

I was at my GCSE Maths class earlier. Well the college know that i’m blind. I have informed them of everything i will need. I find out tonight, that i need protractors, a graph board with raised paper to do the graphs on, a compass, and talking scientiffic calculator. This is on top of me needing the laptop and braille!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew i would need this, but it fucking pisses me off, a lot. Especially when it’s told to you, it’s like My god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Number 1, where the hell am i gonna get that stuff? Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!

Another thing is, what’s with sighted people kind of pushing you where you want to go? Well not pushing you, but directing you firmly when you clearly know where to go, and you are using the route that you’re used to? It’s really annoying!!!!!!!! Note to any sighted user. Please don’t interupt a route that I have been shown, and am comfortable doing in my own way!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry about this, but I just needed to get that off my chest!!!!!!!!!

I. Hate. Maths!!!
